A lie takes 10 times more energy than telling the TRUTH. Truth is simple and straight forward. As it is said a lie lighten ups the brain as a christmas tree. Behind each lie is a created cover up and a follow up with a new lie and it goes on.

Those who do not believe the truth when they hear it are either profoundly jealous or caught up in their own ego. Sometimes fooled by lies of others or plainly not smart enough to understand the truth when they hear it.

My teacher told me not to make the same mistake as he did, by allowing the unreal to manifest in my school. He said that karate has created an offshoot from the real to that of an illusion. He was referring to real art called karate-do and the false way karate-ego. I am glad that my students and I have taken the true path. This was Gogen Sensei's way.

In Goshin kan karate-do we do not have instructors we have teachers. The art of Budo has only teachers.

The true Budo ka has no time to play games(tournaments), seek fame, focus on challenging others (ego), waste time on fairy tale karate (No Can Do). Budo is about conquering the forever challenging mind of illusion(Maya).

After many years of searching, through great struggle, my teacher found the path(DO).Through love and understanding he guided me to this secret path. He told me that karate-do is self( body, mind spirit) defence, nothing more and nothing less. If I move away from this teaching I will be moving away from my teacher and truth. Both are preciously kept in my heart.

"If I only knew" - how often we heard that from people who have made incorrect decisions by those who were driven to do so by those with evil ways. When we make most decisions in life use your peripheral intelligence, understanding out side the box.

The mind always creates challenges to be better, to be more fortunate, to be special, to be the only one etc. Nature sees life as life as just doing duties (our roles) as designed. When we think of ourselves as the mind I we are faced with unnecessary challenges, however when we accept life as it presents itself we will be happier.

Someone asked me why do I not do sports karate. Simply, it does not have DO(The Way.)
For my self, I cannot love martial sport and martial art - like God and Money. Either one or the other each completely different. Some say both complement each other. Traditional arts is real, whereas sport is make believe. I have many examples of Japanese masters informing us the Sport Kata is only made to look beautiful and controlled kumite in Tournaments is for the purpose of winning trophies. I love the art because it is what I live for. Masters have shown me the way(Do)and I will give it up rather than choose the other.
